Star n9770 mt6577 Dual core Thread

This is a new thread for the star n9770 mt6577 Dual core.

ROOT
I have just used this method to safely root my star n9770 and worked perfect,it just wipes your time and date after root so just reset them and that's it.

(does not seem to work with new 13/07 firmware but fine with earlier)do not try on devices running firmware later than 13/07/12 it will naff them

THIS IS ORIGINAL FIRMWARE FROM FIRST ISSUE AND IS OLD AS ARE THE ROOT EXPLOIT AS WAS FOR FIRST N9770 MADE. 
NOW THERE ARE MANY MODELS CALLED N9770 SO PLEASE READ THREAD FOR MORE UPDATED FIRMWARE AND EXPLOITS ROOT ETC. ENSURE YOU MAKE A NOTE OF YOUR DEVICE FIRMWARE IN SETTING /ABOUT PHONE AND WRITE IT DOWN BEFORE YOU START FLASHING THE FIRST FIRMWARE YOU FIND.
